DAAR was selected to provide freeway design services for reconstruction of the I-94 and County KR interchange in Racine County, WI. This interchange was part of the 35-mile, I-94 North-South Freeway project from the Illinois State Line to the Mitchell Interchange in Milwaukee.

DAAR provided final design services for the non-interchange segments and the WIS 11 interchange, as part of the 35-mile reconstruction of I-94 from the Illinois State Line to the Mitchell Interchange in Milwaukee, WI. The project included reconstruction of approximately 7 miles of interstate, 17 miles of frontage road and 2 miles of side roads. In addition, final design of 13 bridges, numerous retaining walls, box culvert extensions and sign bridges were required.

Design services provided for this project led to the reconstruction of County NN interchange on US 12 outside the city of Elkhorn in Walworth County.

As part of a design team, DAAR provided design services on this freeway expansion project. DAAR’s responsibilities included preliminary and final design of the County F (Scheuring Road) interchange. In addition to the interchange work, DAAR was responsible for 1.4 miles of the preliminary design of US 41 mainline.
