Utility Engineering

DAAR Engineering provides and analyzes high-level network design utilizing established right of way, property lines and roadways. This includes developing and maintaining the network GIS database and high-quality aerial photography to create standalone base maps, drawing existing utilities based on available resources, municipal records, and as-built plans. DAAR engineers determine ideal locations for new fiber infrastructure based on existing paving or utility conflicts; potential future replacement or expansion and develop construction procedures and emergency action plans. DAAR provides accurate and legible plan sets for review, permitting and construction purposes.

Utility Engineering

DAAR engineers establish architectural and engineering design processes for completion of construction drawings. In addition, we provide accurate and legible plan sets for small cell design; and coordinate with all responsible parties to ensure successful network implementation. DAAR also provides GIS Field data collections and analysis for prospective small cell locations.

Utility Engineering

DAAR Engineering provides several gas and electric services, primarily paving and conflict review and utility base mapping and design. Paving and conflict reviews require coordination with municipalities on upcoming construction and reviewing existing infrastructure to determine if design is needed. For design plan sets are created, customer data is compiled, emergency action plans are developed, and construction procedures are written up. We also work with municipalities on the back end of design with permitting and coordination.
