DAAR provided public involvement services for the rehabilitation of I-43 from south of Silver Spring Drive to the north Milwaukee County line in Milwaukee County, WI.

DAAR’s Communications Specialists work directly with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region’s Communications Manager to provide support for all public outreach activities. This includes the development of press releases; providing responses to media and legislative inquiries; writing, editing and developing graphics for internal and external publications; and regularly attending project meetings to help prepare and implement public involvement plans.

Under this contract, DAAR provided a Communications Specialist to serve as the interim Regional Communications Manager during a 1-year vacancy at the Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Southeast Region office.
