Mr. Novey, who leads the Wisconsin construction division at DAAR Engineering from our Portage office, serves as the Construction Services Manager/Principal.

With over three decades of experience in transportation design and construction, Mike has a wealth of expertise in project problem solving, consultant solicitations, contract negotiations, and project management. Mike is a licensed Professional Engineer in Wisconsin.

Mr. Novey's extensive background encompasses the administration of numerous large and small-scale projects. He excels in tasks such as reviewing plans for constructability, staging, and bid feasibility, while diligently monitoring project budgets and schedules. Furthermore, Mike provides invaluable guidance and mentoring to our staff, maintains excellent client relations, prepares pay estimates, handles construction layout, oversees construction inspection, manages on-site plan revisions, ensures construction supervision, and upholds rigorous quality assurance standards. His strong public relations skills facilitate seamless coordination between utilities, consultants, government agencies, and private citizens.

Residing in Pardeeville, WI, Mike is a devoted family man, happily married with three adult children. Outside of work, he finds joy in exploring the great outdoors, indulging in his passion for hiking and biking across the picturesque state of Wisconsin.
