11,000 cars a day will benefit from the smooth ride and extended life of this bridge.

The bridge was opened to traffic on Friday 6/4/2021 on schedule. Zenith Tech., Inc. was the prime contractor who did an excellent job rehabilitating this structure. There was great communication and coordination between WisDOT, DAAR, ZTI, and the City of Wausau. Crews are completing the STH 52, Scott Street bridge abutment repairs this week and will start working on the Bus 51, Grand Avenue Bridge next week.
